Jesus Christ's moral teachings and their practical application in life
Allan Kardec's The Gospel According to Spiritism
(2022 version by Cesar Bezerra)
CHAPTER 28. PRAYERS (part 19 of 34)
Prayer on seeing others' joy
44. Introduction. A charitable one rejoices over the good others receive and replaces spite with a sincere desire for neighbors' best.
45. Prayer. Dear God, blessed you are for the joy you bestowed on [name(s)]! Good spirits! Please inspire them to be grateful. Encourage them to make a good use of the benefit instead of bragging. Keep guiding them to prevent a possible moral downfall of theirs. And you, good spirit who watches over me! Help me to overcome my envy tendency.
