Spiritism is a reincarnationist Christian doctrine which helps us to practice, in all life circumstances, the greatest commandment: Love your neighbour as yourself, which in other words means Do to others what you want that others doing to you. (Matthew 7:12.) Each belief may be interpreted as a different "model". The Spiritist doctrine comprises a model. As this model doesn't contradict reason nor the scientific discoveries, it is a very convincing one. Spiritism is not fantastic. It is logic. It explains us that the union among science ("brain") and religion ("heart") is imperative for human evolution. Spiritism foundations started being launched in France in 1857, with The Spirits' Book, and in 1866, with The Gospel According to Spiritism. Both books were organized by Léon-Dénizarth-Hippolyte Rivail, better known by his pseudonym Allan Kardec. Since those times many moral teachings have been continuously transmitted to humankind from advanced spirits through several mediums worldwide. These teachings, transmitted by advanced spirits, may be summarized as Do good to all and wrong no one. This principle provides humankind a conduct rule of universal application, from the smallest subjects to the greatest, independently from whatever religion one may follow. If your present belief convinces you, if it leads you to the right conduct, and gives you the necessary strength to face the life challenges without blasphemy, then it nicely plays its role and it's Ok. But if you are unsatisfied, if you have unanswered questions, if your creed doesn't actually comfort you, then we suggest you to know the Spiritist model. Read, think about its teachings and conclude by yourself. Selfishness is the source of all vices, as charity is the source of all virtues. To destroy the one, to develop the other, must be the aim of all those who desire to assure their own happiness, both presently and in the future. (Allan Kardec)
