Thanksgiving for a victory over temptation
22. Introduction. Those who resist a temptation might owe the victory to the help of good spirits, whose voice they have probably listened to. In any case they should be thankful to God and their guardian angel.

Prayer. Dear God, I thank you for having permitted
me to win
the struggle I have sustained against my imperfection. May this
triumph strengthen my willpower so as to overcome new temptations. My
guardian angel, I thank you for the assistance you have given me. May
my submission to your advice allow me to deserve your protection
again.
